Graduate Assistant Added to Graduate Writing Place Staff
January 7, 2019Alícia Hernàndez Grande has recently joined the staff of the Graduate Writing Place and will serve as the progam’s first Graduate Assistant until September 2019. Hernàndez Grande, a 5th PhD Candidate in the Interdisciplinary PhD in Theatre and Drama, will assist the Graduate Writing Place in better serving Northwestern’s graduate student population through their one-on-one consultations, interdisciplinary workshops and writing groups, and other projects. “I found the Writing Place an invaluable resource while drafting my dissertation and other writing, and I look forward to working them further,” Hernàndez Grande said.
The Graduate School generously funded this new assistantship position following years of partnership with the Cook Family Writing Program. This 12-month position is for a qualified Northwestern graduate student to support the many endeavors of the Graduate Writing Place on Northwestern’s campus. The search for the next GA is expected to take place in April 2019, with the position beginning in June 2019. Back to top
